Isa Khan Tomb is located in Nizamuddin was built in remembrance of Isa Khan who was an Afghan Noble in the court of Sher Shah Suri. Isa Khan's tomb was built during his lifetime around 1547-48 AD, is situated near the Mughal emperor Humayun Tomb's Complex in New Delhi. The tomb built within an enclosed octagonal garden is an important architectural structure. Isa Khan’s garden tomb in the enclosed area of Humayun’s Tomb World Heritage Site in the Capital of India can also be taken as one of the earliest examples of a sunken garden in India – attached to a tomb – a concept later developed at Akbar’s Tomb and at the Taj Mahal, making it an exemplary place which is a must visit for history buffs.
