Street Art
Hey Everyone!
After a Long time i'm posting something. This post is all about the creativity and skills of some artists.
As you all know i live in New Delhi that is the capital of India. There are many places to visit in Delhi. But i came to know about a place full of street arts that was designed by some artists.
The place which i visited is called Lodhi Art District. Last year there was an exhibition organised by these artists so that people can see there work.
All these arts were made beautifully. There are many groups of artist who have taken the initiative of doing this work. They didn't get paid for this but then also they gave there precious time for decorating the streets for there city. Many of us have seen street art but i must say these street arts were pretty much different from other street arts.
As you'll visit this place you can the names of artists were written just beneath there paintings.
This year Lodhi Art District has its third edition and this year it introduces 20 new arts.
This years agenda was social causes such as women empowerment , climate change , waste management and other social issues.
Many international artists participated in this project. Aravani art project organised this years festival.
This year 30 new artists were featured in this festival.
The aim is to interact with many more people so that people can get the message which the artists want to tell in through their arts.
The aim is to make artwork more attractive with the help of new technologies so that more people will love the arts. Now a days people just see arts sitting at home in there phones with the help of social media platforms. The social media has weakened our links with real world. But an immersive walk through this colony, displaying artworks of many international and national artist will help us again to interact the real world.
